Speaking of some of my favorite things…

Jon Acuff’s birthday is December 19. Please go to Stacy from Louisville’s Blog for more information on how to make this the most Razzle Dazzlest Birthday Ever!

I’m not exactly sure how old he is, but based on this photo I would estimate his age at about fourteen or fifteen.

Now, go see Stacy.

    >Katdish –

He has to be older than that! He’s married and has 2 kids. Oh, wait…I forgot. He lives in Alpharetta, GA. You’re probably right…seventeen, tops.

    >Dude. Alpharetta is the Orange County of Atlanta. Or maybe Silicon Valley…

The people in MY part of GA marry and have kids in their teens.

Not that I have any experience with that.

    WV:
A common name where I live:
“Verdrus, cayn ya come in here? Momma’s stuck in the dishwasher agin!”

    >Just when I thought there was no hope for you, you leave a powerful comment on my site (“Close but…”)

    >Haha. I know. I think he’s a couple years older than I am, but he looks like a kid from youth group got loose…let me check his facebook and see if I can determine exact age.

    >According to facebook, Jon was born in the Year of our Lord, 1975.
    That makes him….(drumroll)……………33.

    >Steph – Hmmm…..

“The Orange County of Atlanta”. Doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue does it? Kinda like “The St. Tropez of North Dakota”, or “The Cambridge of Tupelo, Mississippi”, or “The Milan of South Carolina”. No, not so much.

Sherri – You know I’m a goofball. I just had to come back and write something genuine because my first comment was, well…I couldn’t help myself.

Beth – I think he’s actually in his mid-thirties. And how come you haven’t invited ME to be your facebook friend? HMMMMM?!? Look me up while you’re over there (Kathy Richards) Or maybe you have. I never check that thing.

    >Kathy,

Okay, the OC of the ATL. You happy now?

I stalked you on facebook and found you! Go check and accept the friend request! (You DO want to be my friend, right?)

    WV: flyping
Doing work on your laptop on a plane.
“Did you finish that report?” “Yeah, I was flyping during the whole flight.”
    Lame, huh?

  8. katdish December 13, 2008 at 2:39 pm #

    >Steph –

If by “lame” you mean “word that I will heretofore attempt to introduce into my everyday venacular”, then yeah, totally lame.

flyping…(snort) Seriously? (snort, snort). Love that.

    >Thanks for your help!

  10. katdish December 13, 2008 at 6:19 pm #

    >Stacy –

Happy to help. And thanks for the props on my polka dot rooms. I’m not going to comment on that blog because I’ve got too many slide shows posted on there and they’ve got it all jacked-up. Gotta go draw some scary faces on some Willow Tree figurines!
